Luss & Arden Community Council, Friends of Loch Lomond & The Trossachs and Luss Estates issued a joint press release, highlighting the community's united opposition to Argyll & Bute Council's traffic and parking proposals.
Luss Estates will host an event in conjunction with Argyll Native Woodland Co-op on October 14, 2016. The event will be a series of talks and practical demonstrations, aimed at improving knowledge and understanding of assessing, harvesting and marketing hardwood timber.
Farmers in the Argyll & Bute and Forth & Clyde regions attended a farm crime prevention and fire safety event hosted at Luss Estates. The event, organised jointly by NFU Scotland, Police Scotland and Scottish Fire & Rescue Service, Forestry Commission and Scottish Land & Estates, provided an opportunity to discuss current rural crime and fire-related issues.
Loch Lomond Young Farmers' Stock-judging Competition 2016 was held at Luss Estates' Ballyvoulin Farm on the 11 June. 85 competitors took part with many more people along to spectate and support. Over £500 was rasied for LLYFC.
Surrounded by the stunning countryside of the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park, at Luss Estates we are spolit with fantastic photo opportunities. Earlier this year we launched our first staff photo competition and we were blown away by the quality of entries.
The Helensburgh Advertiser featured Luss Estates' Highland Cattle. The deciding vote for the calves' names was cast by the children of Luss Primary School, after a naming competition on the Loch Lomond Arms Hotel Facebook page.
