We are delighted to announce the new usage for the Luss Filling Station building in Luss carpark. As Luss Filling Station is a 24 hour unmanned site the building associated with the forecourt is not needed for operations, other than a self-contained control room.
Luss Estates worked alongside volunteers from Arrochar, Tarbet & Ardlui Community Trust, GRAB Trust, Marine Conservation Society and Zero Waste Scotland with support from Scottish Government, Argyll & Bute Council and Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park to tackle the issue of marine waste on the seashore.
Opened by Sir Malcolm Colquhoun, Chairman of Luss Estates Company and attended by Paul Wheelhouse MSP, Minister for Business, Innovation and Energy.

Arrochar Community Hydro, a scheme conceived by Luss Estates and on land leased to the community development trusts at a peppercorn rent, recently welcomed a visit from the new CEO of Scottish Renewables, as well as representatives from Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park.
