Luss Estates Company is proud to be able to say that over 7 occasions between March and November 2019, a team of up to 20 Estate workers including the senior management team, litter picked around Luss village and the glens. The Estate invested £10k in labour and litter disposal costs and, including the community litter pick in March, collected well over 300 bags of litter plus numerous larger items.

Simon Miller, CEO, said “We are delighted to welcome tourists to Loch Lomond; they are a vital part of the economy and support many local jobs, however, we are constantly amazed that a minority of visitors to the area feel that it is acceptable to leave litter in such large quantities. On behalf of everyone who lives in and visits Loch Lomond we urge everyone to take their rubbish home and if they see other people’s litter pick it up and take that home too”.
