Arrochar Community Hydro welcomes Scottish Renewables CEO

Arrochar Community Hydro, a scheme conceived by Luss Estates and on land leased to the community development trusts at a peppercorn rent, recently welcomed a visit from the new CEO of Scottish Renewables, as well as representatives from Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park.

Scottish Renewables is the voice of renewable energy in Scotland and is committed to realising the full economic, social and environmental benefits of renewable energy for our country. CEO Claire Mack joined Scottish Renewables in June this year from her position as Director of Policy and Place at the Scottish Council for Development and Industry. She believes in the role of the renewable energy sector in driving wider economic growth in Scotland.
