Set at the heart of the protected Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, the wild countryside of Luss Estates provides superb shooting and stalking.
Driven and walked up pheasant shoots are led by Luss Estates' experienced Head Game Keeper, Alan Kerr. At the very start of the rugged Scottish Highlands a shoot at Luss Estates promises a day of diverse drives, engaging conditions and stunning landscapes.
Luss Estates is home to seasonal stalking: Red Deer from July to mid-October; Roe buck stalking in April, May and August. Luss Estates includes a selection of secluded, undeveloped islands, scattered like bright green emeralds in the clean loch water; Fallow buck stalking is available on the Loch Lomond Islands from July until mid-October.
Delicious lunches for shooting parties and packed lunches for stalking parties are catered expertly by the Loch Lomond Arms Hotel. Luss Estates is able to assist with accommodation, including dog friendly cottages, and transport requirements.
Luss Estates is affiliated with Tyndrum & Inverary Deer Management Group and the Loch Lomond Islands Deer Management Group. Deer management is a necessity in order to reduce browsing pressure on woodland, allowing new growth in the native broadleaf woodlands, and to minimise the risk of road traffic accidents on the busy A82 and A83.
