Luss Estates staff finishes this year’s war on litter
While it's not the most enjoyable task, the staff cheerfully enter into the spirit of the job, welcoming a hot coffee and bacon rolls at the Loch Lomond Arms at the end of litter pick.
Simon Miller explained why they are doing this: "Most of us live and work in this most beautiful of national parks, and it is deeply disappointing to see rubbish which has been thrown out of passing cars, left behind in wild camping spots or simply dumped if it's not wanted.
"We spend over 300 hours of our time each year picking up other people's rubbish. I urge people to consider the environment they themselves are enjoying, and simply take their rubbish home with them."
