Luss Advent Fair
The Loch Lomond Arms will host the annual Luss Charity Advent Fair in aid of St Georges Ethiopia on November 11 from 11am - 7pm. A host of talented craft and art producers will fill the Inchconnachan and Sutherland function space at the hotel showcasing a wide range of gifts and homewares.
The Regal Storytellers will host storytelling sessions for children during the day alongside a children's craft area, setup by the children and PTA of Luss Primary School. Helensburgh Flowers are holding Christmas wreath making classes and fine Scottish Christmas trees will be available for pre-order.
Festive food and drinks will be available throughout the day, with a hog roast from 5pm.
Father Christmas will switch on the Luss Christmas lights at 5pm lighting up Luss General Store and the Loch Lomond Arms Hotel in brilliant, sparkling splendour!
Father Christmas will retire to his grotto after the lights have been switched on and will be greeting children there until 7pm.
Luss Advent Fair is held in aid of St Georges' Ethiopia, a charity school set up by Sir Malcolm and Lady Colquhoun of Luss to provide free education to some of the poorest children in Ethiopia, living in Gondar Province. The majority of the students are orphans and would otherwise receive no education at all.
