Loch Lomond Arms Hotel Joins Local Businesses at BOWFest
The Loch Lomond's 'newest oldest' hotel joined many of the west of Scotland's finest food and drinks producers, artists, craftspeople and musicians at Inveraray Castle's BOWFest this month.
The Loch Lomond Arms Hotel, which opened in Luss twelve months ago following a £3million transformation of a former coaching inn, was joint sponsor of the Whisky Tent at the annual 'Best of the West' celebration hosted in the grounds of the Inveraray Castle. With a musical line up including Skerryvore, the Red Hot Chilli Pipers and Skipinnish, the family friendly festival drew record crowds, and provided a platform for numerous west coast businesses to promote their wares.
The Helensburgh and Lomond area was particularly well represented with Shandon based textile and homeware designers Scott Inness, Arrochar pottery specialists Mansfield Studios and Lomond Soap of Cardross represented in the crafts area, whilst the Loch Lomond Arms Hotel brought a little of its unique style to the ever popular whisky tent.
Valerie Jones of the Loch Lomond Arms Hotel said: "The Loch Lomond Arms Hotel was delighted and proud to be part of this wonderful celebration of the outstanding quality and creativity which exists throughout the west coast of Scotland. BOWFest brings together an amazing array of local talent, and we had a fantastic weekend meeting thousands of people who had travelled from all over the country. It was also a great opportunity to meet other businesses and suppliers, and we were particularly pleased to see so many from the Loch Lomond and Helensburgh area."
