International Visitors Joined Luss Locals for Pancake Fun
Rev. Ian Miller, Ross Dea of sponsor Carr’s Hutchisons Mills in Kirkcaldy, and Colin Stone of STV Glasgow’s Riverside Show were the lucky judges, whilst Clan Chieftain Sir Malcolm Colquhoun Bt opened the event with Lady Colquhoun presenting the prizes. Helensburgh Athletics Club’s Kevin Johnson started the races, Brigadier Donald Hardie was on hand for the Olney Race, and a team from Luss Estates helped marshal the busy event.
The organiser, Jan Pearson, said: “Thank you so much to everyone who took part and helped make Luss Pancake Day possible. People of all ages were involved, from tiny tots upwards, and despite the rain, we had great fun. We certainly hope to make this an annual event for the local community and visitors to enjoy every year.”
