Head Chef at the Loch Lomond Arms & Luss Seafood Bar

Luss Estates is seeking a Head Chef for the award winning Loch Lomond Arms, set on the banks of Loch Lomond, Argyll & Bute.

The Loch Lomond Arms is a traditional inn set in the heart of one of Scotland’s prettiest villages, Luss. Just 24 miles from Glasgow, on the border of The Highlands and within the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park, the location is perfectly accessible, yet benefits from some of Scotland’s most beautiful scenery and superb tourism footfall.

The Head Chef has enviable access to a supply of estate-sourced livestock and game, in addition to locally grown fruit, vegetables and herbs. An emphasis on local provenance defines the ethos of this award winning gastro-pub and hotel.

The owners are looking for an ambitious chef to develop a seasonal menu reflecting the locality and availability of Scottish food. Additionally, the role involves management and oversight of Luss Seafood Bar, focused on locally-sourced fish and shellfish.

The ideal candidate will have experience within a high-quality pub, inn or restaurant, leading a brigade of sous-chefs, commis chefs and chef de parties. Most importantly, the successful candidate will demonstrate creativity that makes him/her stand out from the crowd. This is an opportunity for an ambitious Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef to make a name for themselves in a prominent and well known hotel in one of Scotland’s busiest tourist hubs.
